Crafter's Choice Coasters Project
By Laurie Pessetto
Coasters not only protect a table from damage, they also can be used to complement a room’s décor or party decorations.

Matching coasters are a great way to add color and accessorize dining or end tables when decorating for any event or holiday. They add a nice touch and are economical and easy to make. Choose from a look that is formal or fun depending on your fabric and notions choices. Another advantage is the ability to have the perfect size. Simply measure the base of the drink containers.
When making coasters, consider using HTC’s Crafter's Choice, which is a light, fusible interfacing that gives drink mats shape and form. For projects that need firmer support, it’s easy to use two layers. The materials listed will make four or more coasters. I chose a lightweight woven fabric and prewashed the fabric and the lip piping.
